Bicolor Parrotfish (Scarus rubroviolaceus)

RANGE: These fish are common to occasional in the entire archipelago and north to Baja as well as tropical Indo-Pacifific
They inhabit rocky, boulder strewn reefs and slopes. Most common on reefs with reef building stony corals. They feed by scaping algae from rocks and corals.
