Length 68cm. This is the second biggest raptor in Madagascar after the fish eagle. This raptor eats insects, crickets, cockroaches, larvae, young birds, eggs, reptiles and sometimes some of the small nocturnal lemurs.
DISTIBUTION: All woodland areas.
