HABITAT & RANGE: Mainly in secondary tributaries of main rivers. Only to main rivers during nesting season when sand banks exposed. Amazonia, Llanos & Orinoco of Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Guianas, Ecuador, Peru & Bolivia.
