Sierra de Andújar Natural Park, Mediterranean woodland of Sierra Morena, north east Jaén Province, Andalusia. SPAIN
RANGE: Iberia & s Balkansa also nw Africa & sw Asia.
Usually found in still or slow moving water with a good growth of aquatic plants. Aestivate when ponds dry up.
