This thrush in mainly arboreal and rather shy.
HABITAT & RANGE: Found in lightly forested and wooded habitats and adjacent gardens in lowlands and subtropics of western Andes mainly below 1900 meters. Found in coastal west Ecuador and extreme nw Peru.
