Yellow-rumped Cacique (Cacicus cela)
Orinoco River, north of Puerto Ayacucho. Apure Province, VENEZUELA/COLOMBIA border. South America.
RANGE: Central Panama to w Ecuador, n Bolivia, the Guianas and Amazonian Brazil & Trinidad.
They nest in colonies weaving pouch-like nests places in high branches near wasp nests. They are very melodious birds. Feed on berries, fruit and insects.
