Dolphin Gull (Larus scoresbii)

Nest on sand, shingle or boulder beaches or rocky promontories. They are important scavengers of penguin, allbatross, cormorant and seal colonies where they feed on spilt regurgitated food and excreta.
RANGE: Fairly dense in coastal regions, forming large coloneis. Southern South America, Tierra del Fuego, Patagonia north to Puerto Madryn and Falkland Islands.
