Bottle-nosed dolphin by-catch. (Tursiops truncatus) Small Antandroy fishing village of Lavanono on the southern coast of MADAGASCAR. Apparently they catch +- one per year in their artisanal nets. This was caught from a pirogue or outrigger dugout canoe. The meat was sold for human consumption to the local villages for 35 cents, US per kilogram.
