Pantanal ox cart bulls

Crossing the flooded areas of the Pantanal. These Pantanal bulls are used for pulling the ox cart during the floods. These bulls are only used for the ox cart and never go to market. The cowboys respect them as hard working animals and leave them to die of natural causes on the fazendas. During the heavy floods access is vertually impossible without either ox-carts or tractors. Most of the remote fazendas do not own tractors.
