MAR Alliance is performing population assessments on Sharks, Rays, and Great Barracuda to aid with management and protection. They are collecting samples to determine methyl mercury levels. Some samples will undergo staple isotope analysis allowing scientists to determine diet and trophic position in the marine food web.
