HABITAT & DISTRIBUTION: Traditional datu cactus fences reduce run-off rates and transport of sediment and nutrients on hillsides in Bonaire. The cactus scrub ecoregion is located on the islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao (sometimes called the A-B-C’s) in the southern Caribbean Basin.
